What’s good, everybody?!
I do apologize its taken me a while to get to this. After Saturday’s stream, as usual, I was tired on Sunday and had yet to set up the equipment in time for streaming so I took that day off. Monday, I just took another mental health day. When I got home, I sat on my couch and just fell right to sleep.
On the blog side of things, because I had not physically been in the office for three days, I had a lot of work to catch up on. This meant that any personal projects, namely the site, had to be put on hold for a bit. Because the PC was still not set up, I took photos and videos of it for the site to be put up on Monday, but we saw what happened there.
But, enough of that. I have some stats that I want to share with you:
Extra Life Fundraising Numbers Through the Years:
2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 (to date) | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Initial Goal | $100 | $200 | $100 | $300 | $400 | $600 |
Total Raised | $25 | $50 | $60 | $315.04 | $575 | $1,646 |
That’s not all. After doing some more number crunching, I have raised more this year than all the other years combined (even without the awesome donation from Skullmonkey42)!
Again, I just want to thank all of you for making this possible! And not just for the Extra Life, but for the incredible hospitality and welcoming nature that you all have shown me over the past few months. Everyone that has come out on the stream, to the site, on Twitter, and in person to share inspiring words have been the fuel for me to keep going and strive to not do more, but to do better!
But I don’t want to just tie this to Extra Life and the past six months. There have been people that have had my back and been in my corner for years. While I may seem like a happy-go-lucky person, obviously, its not always like that. There have been times where I feel like quitting. There have been huge blows to my life. But I’ve always had at least one person to encourage me to keep going forward.
These people are why, despite views on Twitch and YouTube, I keep going! These people are the reason that, despite huge gaps in content, MajorsHouse.com is still up and running! There may be times where I feel like I’m talking to an empty room, but I keep on anyway because I know that somewhere, out there, someone wants to see me succeed. And I thank you for that!
So, if you need anything, please let me know. Again, I thank everyone for helping me grow, but I believe that we all continue to grow together.
