After being two months late to its own coming out party, Fedora 18, codenamed “Spherical Cow” has finally been given approval to be released into the web. At the Go/No-Go meeting held on January 9th, the latest version of the OS was deemed fit to be released and will be available on January 15th.
Phoronix has a list of features that will be implemented in the new release of Fedora 18. However, I wouldn’t get to comfortable with that. If all goes well, the next Fedora release, 19 aka Schrödinger’s Cat, should be released this May.
